इसके तीन प्रकार होते हैं जिन्हें नीचे दिया गया है –
1- Large Electronic Hybrid Computer (बड़े इलेक्ट्रॉनिक हाइब्रिड कंप्यूटर)
इस हाइब्रिड कंप्यूटर को 1960 से 1980 के दशक के बीच में विकसित (develop) किया गया था। इसे बहुत सारें operational amplifiers का इस्तेमाल करके बनाया गया था।
पहले के समय में इस कंप्यूटर का इस्तेमाल differential equations (अवकल समीकरण) को हल करने के लिए किया जाता था। लेकिन अब इसका इस्तेमाल नहीं किया जाता है।
2- General-Purpose Hybrid Computers (सामान्य उद्देश्य के हाइब्रिड कंप्यूटर)
